“Russia has sent a protest note to Japan showing Kuril Islands as its territory in the G20 Summit materials”, Maria Zakharova, the Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation said at the traditional briefing held on today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
MFA Spokesperson said that Russia has sent a protest note to Japan over the mentioned issue.
Note that the Kuril islands had been shown as the Japan territory on the materials of G20 Summit held in Osaka.
