The Russian Federation Council has ratified the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
Today at the plenary session of the Russian Federation Council, the ratification of the federal law on the convention was discussed.
The federal law on the convention has been put on the agenda by the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council.
The I deputy chairman of the committee, Vladimir Cabarov, made a report on the Convention.
Subsequently, the ratification of the Convention was voted and adopted.
