The Volga Transport Prosecutor’s Office began a check on the fact of a fire on the three-deck motor ship Svyataya Rus in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, APA reports quoting Tellereport.

“The deputy Volga transport prosecutor and the investigation team went to the scene. Verification of the implementation of the requirements of the law has begun in the case of the courts,” the statement said.

Based on the results of the audit, the prosecutor’s office will assess the damage caused to the vessel, as well as make a decision on prosecutorial response measures.

Earlier, the FAN reported that a fire of 450 sq. M occurred on the ship “Holy Russia” under repair. m. At the time of fire people were not on board.

It is also specified that the fire was assigned a second, increased difficulty rank.
