Azerbaijan has made $14.5 mln direct investment to Georgia in the first quarter of 2019, APA’s local bureau reports citing a quarterly report of Georgia National Statistical Office.
It has been stated in the report that the largest direct investment was made by Irland in this country ($ 133.2 million) during the reporting period which has accounted for 47.4% of total investments.
In January-March of the current year, 75.1% of total investments have concentrated in three sectors. These sectors are as follows: social and personal services ($ 139.8 million), finance sector ($42,7 million), and logistics ($28,6 million).
Direct foreign investment has been made to Georgia with the amount of $ 281.1 bn in the first quarter of this year.
