Uzbekistan is interested in using Baku-Tbilisi-Gars railway for getting access to the world markets, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov in his meeting with his Georgian counterpart David Zalkaliani, says Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, APA’s local bureau reports.
“Uzbekistan is interested in cooperation with Georgia for getting access to world markets by using transport-communication and transit infrastructure and Baku-Tbilisi-Gars railway line. We are also reviewing the port infrastructure of Poti, Batumi and Anaklia. We are interested in Uzbekistan’s access to world markets and for that purpose your geography is unique”, Uzbek FM stated.
