Four ministers resign in Georgia

APA reports quoting Georgian news agencies that under the President’s decree Foreign Minister David Bakradze has been dismissed and given the status of President’s special representative. First Deputy Minister Grigol Vashadze will act as Foreign Minister. Bakradze is in the first ranks in the National Movement Party’s list of candidates on proportional system. The ruling party intends to nominate Bakradze as Chairman of the Parliament, if case the party wins the elections. Other resigned members of the government are State Minister of Refugees and Accommodation Koba Subeliani, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Zaal Gamtsemlidze and Agriculture Minister Petre Tsiskarishvili. Koba Subeliani is the second and Zaal Gamtsemlidze fourth in the list of candidates. Petre Tsiskarishvili has been nominated from first-past-the-post. The resigned ministers were appointed to the posts three months ago.
