Katsia was killed by the sporting gun on his way to the polling station in the morning, said David Gamkrelidze, leader of United Opposition of Georgia, APA quotes Novosti-Gruziya agency. “He was the first victim of the election. The Government should take responsibility for the incident”.
Chairman of local election commission scuffled with the member of the commission form opposition in the 37th polling station of Sagarejo region. Press Secretary of the Central Election Commission Zurab Kachkachishvili confirmed the fact and said that they scuffled because member of opposition called on the voters to support one of the candidates.
