Davitashvili offended one of the female members of the election commission in Rukhi village and then other female members of the commission attacked and beat him, the party’s election headquarter said.
A woman from oppositional Laborite Party Ketevan Talakhadze has taken voting list away in Lagodekhi region, said Spokesman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Zurab Kachkachashvili. “There were names of 42 voters in the list. They should wait for police to detain Talakhadzeh and to bring back the list”. CEC member from Laborite Party Georgiy Mtvarelidze called spokesman’s words groundless. “Voting was falsified in that station and the voting list was lost in turmoil and then was found in the station’s territory. Our representative didn’t escape and didn’t hide anything”.
Leader of Republican Party David Usupashvili also confirmed the violations during the voting process. He said police and intelligence services interfered in the voting process especially in the regions. Journalist Eliso Chapidze said that he and his cameraman were attacked in Signakhi and camera of one of the observers was broken in Khashuri.
