Georgian ruling party wins absolute majority in the Parliament

To him, 90 per cent of the ballots were counted and the ruling party won 120 seats in the Parliament. The United National Movement Party has received 59.9 per cent of the votes on the proportional system. The United Opposition group took 17.65, Christian-Democratic Movement – 8.22 and Labor Party – 7.65 per cent. Candidates of the United National Movement Party have won in 71 from 75 majority districts.
