Strasburg. Fuad Gulubeyli–APA. “Georgia made a progress in the parliamentary elections in May in comparison with the January presidential electionsâ€, said Matias Iorsh, PACE Co-rapporteur on Georgia, APA European bureau reports. He said every election should be evaluated together with its political and social environments. “Improvement of situation was observed during the parliamentary elections. It was shown both in the registration of the candidates and drawing of the lists of voters. Of course there were gaps too. For example there were shortages in the process of reviewing of the disputes during the election. I think the legislation needs in the amendments for solution of these disputes immediately after the voting and organizing of better elections in futureâ€.
