As a result of the crash of Mi-8 helicopters and Su-34 and Su-35 fighter jets in the Bryansk region of Russia, nine people were killed, APA reports citing Baza Telegram channel.

According to the information resource, in the city of Klintsy, all three members of the crew died in the crash of a Mi-8 helicopter, and as a result of the fall of the second Mi-8 in the Unechsky district, three more crew members of the combat vehicle were killed.

Two pilots died in the crash of the Su-34 fighter in the village of Nizhnyaya, and the pilot of the Su-35 fighter died in the village of Suretsky Ant, says the source.

Meanwhile, as the Kommersant newspaper writes, what happened could be the result of a missile attack.

Experts admitted that, judging by the approach of the missile to the Mi-8, the attack was most likely carried out by air-to-air weapons, that is, from enemy aircraft or helicopters. Thus, the Russian air group most likely fell into an air ambush, the publication points out.
