352 protesters apprehended in Yerevan since morning-UPDATED-1

Since early morning 352 peaceful protesters have been apprehended in Yerevan, APA reports citing News.am.

According to the police press service, all of them were apprehended under Article 182 of the Code of Administrative Violations - failure to obey police orders.

The number of people detained during the Armenian opposition protests has reached 277, APA reports.

Armenian police have announced that 277 people have been detained and taken to police stations so far.

The opposition says the police use violence against protest participants.

Police detained 73 people during the protests held by the Armenian opposition in the streets of Yerevan, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

Notably, today, opposition members are trying to close the streets and avenues of the capital, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
