“Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) did not meet Armenia’s expectations,” said Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan in his statement in Radio Liberty, APA reports.
According to him, while appealing to CSTO Armenia’s expectation was achieving military-political assistance against Azerbaijan, however, it was not fulfilled.
Armen Grigoryan added that when CSTO sent troops to Kazakhstan, he had hopes about the mechanisms of the organization would finally work and precedent would be set, however, there is no such hope now.
