Erdogan offered Putin to meet with Zelensky in Turkiye-UPDATED

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once offered his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during the phone conversation to meet with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Turkiye, Turkiye's Presidential administration disseminated information in this regard, APA's Turkiye bureau reports.

Turkish President noted that his country will continue to do its best for the establishment of lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine.

In addition, Erdogan said to Putin that the continuation of the positive results of the Istanbul talks to pave the way for peace between Russia and Ukraine is in everyone's interest.

The Turkish President has also noted the importance of opening the humanitarian corridors and achieving a ceasefire in a short time.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in Ukraine during his phone talk with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan," said Kremlin spokesman Dmytry Peskov, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

Responding to the question of whether negotiations between the two presidents were appointed for Tuesday or not Peskov said "I can not really approve it. Moreover, I can say that it already occurred. Ukraine was discussed there.
