Foreign Ministry denies Kazakhstan suspended entry for foreigners-UPDATED

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan denied the reports on the temporary suspension of entry of foreigners, APA reports citing AKIPress.

Flights are canceled by airlines, according to Vlast.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan suspended the entry for foreigners, RIA Novosti reported citing a representative of the Kazakh embassy in Tashkent.

Due to introduction of state of emergency, entry for foreign nationals into the territory of Kazakhstan has been suspended until further notice by road, by air or by any other means of transport, the embassy representative said.

Entry of foreign citizens to Kazakhstan has been restricted, according to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.

According to the Embassy, it is related to the state of the emergency imposed in the country.
