Removing the history of the Armenian Church from the school curriculum is unacceptable, Garegin II, Catholicos of all Armenians told journalists, APA reports.
According to him, a subject included in the school curriculum not only gives knowledge, but also shapes the system of values, and protects identity.
It was noted that during the meeting with the Minister of Education of Armenia, the Catholicos expressed a negative attitude towards the plans of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and suggested holding discussions and finding solutions.
Garegin II called it unacceptable to exclude the history of the Armenian Church from the school curriculum
