Iran and Armenia signed a new agreement on electricity and gas exchange, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
On November 1, the two countries signed an agreement to double the volume of gas exports from Iran to Armenia. Iran imports electricity from Armenia and exports gas to this country in return.
Currently, Iran exports 1 million cubic meters of gas to Armenia daily, which will be increased twice, according to the new memorandum.
