The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan will summon the Russian ambassador for a talk on 5 October. The topic will be the statement of the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, about the Ambassador of Ukraine, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.

“The Kazakh Foreign Ministry will summon the Russian ambassador to the country on October 5 for a talk,” a spokesman for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said. His words are reported by TASS. The representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry also noted that Zakharova’s statement about the ambassador of Ukraine does not correspond to the nature of relations between Astana and Moscow.

“The candidacy of a new ambassador of Ukraine to Kazakhstan is under consideration,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan added. The Foreign Ministry also stressed that after the appointment of a new ambassador, the representative of Ukraine in Kazakhstan, Petro Vrublevsky, will leave the republic.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, announced that the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, had been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. The call of the representative of Kazakhstan took place against the background of the fact that the Ukrainian ambassador to the republic, Petr Vrublevsky, who was noted for Russophobic statements, was seen in Astana.
