The Kremlin released details of the phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, APA's Moscow correspondent reports citing the Kremlin Press Service.

During the phone conversation, President Tayyip Erdoğan expressed sincere gratitude to Russia for its support in eliminating the effects of the devastating earthquakes in Türkiye, and he hailed the professionalism of Russian rescuers and doctors.

In turn, Vladimir Putin stated that he is ready to keep providing help to the Turkish side during the restoration work in the natural disaster-affected areas of the country.

"The current topics of Russia-Türkiye cooperation, including cooperation in the energy sector, were discussed. The practical aspects of the future Russian energy carrier supply and the construction of the Akkuyu NPP were thoroughly reviewed.

Opinions on the situation in Ukraine were exchanged in the context of the Russian President's recent address to the Federal Parliament of the Russian Federation.

Attention was paid to the implementation of the Istanbul agreements on the export of Ukrainian grain as well as the export of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers.

The importance of honestly implementing the second part of the "package" in terms of removing restrictions to making important supplies to countries that need them more than Russia was highlighted.
