"In this life, anything can happen. If Armenia's president said it, he probably had reasons to say it," said Andrei Rudenko, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister while commenting on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's words about the possibility of signing peace before the end of the year, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

In response to a question about whether the document that Pashinyan is ready to sign on extending the mandate of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh to 20 years will be discussed on the agenda of the Sochi summit, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister noted that the peacekeeping contingent was placed in accordance with the trilateral declaration signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020: " It has a specific mandate - five years. It has not been 5 years yet," the Russian diplomat added."
