The European Union intends to send a new mission consisting of 100 observers to the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan for a period of two years, says Politico citing diplomatic sources, APA reports.
The publication notes that an agreement was reached with the official Yerevan on the necessity of the participation of observers.
It is noted that the relevant mission draft will be sent to the European Commission's policy and security committee for approval.
