The Moscow Exchange announced on Tuesday the suspension of trading of the Swiss franc against the Russian ruble and the United States dollar, APA reports citing Teletrader.
According to the press release published on the Russian largest bourse's official website, this decision comes as a result of difficulties in conducting transactions in the Swiss currency for market participants and the financial sector after Switzerland adopted the new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation on June 10.
Moscow Exchange said it is cooperating with correspondent banks to find a way to resume trading in Swiss francs in the future.
