"Moscow raises questions about NATO's intention to supply weapons to Moldova," Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko told reporters, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

"We are surprised not so much by the UK's statement as by the possible reaction of Chisinau, but we will follow. Because the constitution of Moldova clearly spells out its neutral non-bloc status, and the supply of weapons there, and weapons from a NATO member state, of course, raises questions,” Rudenko said.

Note that earlier, British Foreign Minister Liz Truss, in an interview with Telegraph, said that the UK and other NATO countries are discussing the possibility of arms supplies to Moldova. According to her, this measure is aimed at protecting the country from the alleged “threat of invasion” from Russia.
