The opposition in Yerevan tries to impeach Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, APA reports citing the Armenian media.

18 votes are not enough for the Parliament's lack of confidence in the Prime Minister.

The opposition MPs gave the ruling party MPs time to join the impeachment campaign.

It is reported that 18 votes are not enough for impeachment.

Protests are taking place in front of the Armenian parliament and government building, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

The reason for this was the statements made by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in the National Assembly.

Nikol Pashinyan denied what he said about the Armenian side preparing to sign any document.

He wrote about it on his official Facebook page.

During the action held near the parliament building, citizens blocked Bagramyan avenue and traffic was stopped.

In Yerevan, protesters tried to break down the door of the Armenian parliament.

In turn, the police demand the activists to open the road.
