Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called his contacts with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan important, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

During the 2023 budget hearing in the parliament, Pashinyan recalled that he contacted the Turkish leader by phone this year and met in Prague.

"You will ask, the meeting took place but has the situation changed?" I can say that there is an important change in the situation in itself, although it does not have practical and serious consequences. While analyzing the situation, I realized that I managed to overcome communication difficulties during contacts with Turkiye in August-October," Pashinyan said.

Although Pashinyan said that this is a weak argument, he added that the dilemma of whether to meet with Turkiye is no longer at the level of the government or the society.
