The crisis in Ukraine will be protracted, according to the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, APA reports citing TASS.
According to him, in connection with the events in Ukraine, Russia will never again trust Western countries.
“Yes, it will be a long crisis. We will never trust the West again,” Peskov said in an interview with MSNBC.
So far, only a few fragments of the interview have aired. In them, Mr. Peskov says that Russia cannot guarantee that Americans captured near Kharkov will not face the death penalty in the DPR, and also talks about his attitude to the arrest of American basketball player Brittney Griner, who, according to preliminary data, found banned substances in Sheremetyevo.
