Head of Police Department of Jambyl Province of Kazakhstan, General Janat Suleymanov has committed a self-suicide, APA reports citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Details of the incident are not revealed.
Another serious incident has been recorded in Nur-Sultan.
Colonel of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan Azamat Ibraev has been found dead at his house, according to press service of National Security Committee, APA reports citing 24kg website.
"Body of colonel of National Security Committee Azamat Ibraev has been found at the yard of his house in Nur-Sultan city on January 10, 2022. An investigation is underway on the fact," noted in the information.
Versions on the self-suicide of the colonel have been published on Kazakhstan media.
