Protesters in Yerevan block streets demanding Pashinyan

Protesters against Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Republic Square, Yerevan, have blocked the capital's central streets, the Armenian media announced, APA reports.

Andranik Tevanyan, the leader of the 'Mother Armenia' bloc, has dispatched several groups in various directions.

The participants have been directed towards the city hall and the Yerevan Brandy Factory building.

Tevanyan himself intends to block intersections along Nalbandian Street with his supporters.

The main action to block the streets will begin at 07:30 in the morning, after which, at 10:00, the protesters are preparing to gather in front of the government building.
