Putin, MBS pleased with cooperation within OPEC+

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) had a telephone call on Friday during which they expressed their satisfaction with the level of cooperation and coordination among the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) in an effort to preserve the stability in the global oil market, APA reports citing Teletrader.

"A number of topical issues on the bilateral agenda were considered with an emphasis on further expanding mutually beneficial ties in the trade, economic, investment, and energy fields," the Kremlin's press service said in a written statement.

OPEC+ previously agreed to slash oil production by two million barrels per day (bpd) until the end of 2023.
