Russian President Vladimir Putin assured on Tuesday, during a meeting with the heads of enterprises of the military-industrial complex, that the country's military equipment has been "effectively resisting" Western weapons used by the Ukrainian side, APA reports citing Breakingnews the News.
"The Russian armament used in a special military operation shows high efficiency," Putin highlighted. However, he stressed that the military-industrial complex enterprises "need to ensure the supply of the required equipment and weapons to the troops as soon as possible."
The head of Russia noted that Moscow should continue studying Western armaments, as well as further improve its own equipment, and do this "quickly."
