Putin visits Uzbekistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Samarkand, Uzbekistan, APA reports citing TASS.

As a part of the visit, Vladimir Putin will attend the summit of the heads of states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries, which will last on September 15-16.

Notably, Vladimir Putin will attend in person the SCO summit for the first time in the last three years. On September 15, Vladimir Putin is scheduled to meet with several foreign heads of state in a bilateral and multilateral format.

He will hold meetings with the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, and China.

Russia-Mongolia-China tripartite summit will also take place today.
