Russia is ready to declare silence again today, APA reports citing TASS.

Silence will be declared so that the forces in Azovstal lay down their weapons, said Mikhail Mizintsev, Colonel-General the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Guided by purely humane principles, the Russian Armed Forces offer the forces to cease hostilities and lay down their weapons from 14:00 Moscow time on April 20, 2022," Mizintsev said.

The colonel-general assured that the Russian Federation guarantees the protection of life and medical care of anyone who lays down his weapon.

In order to carry out the humanitarian operation, the Russian side offered to establish contact between the parties from 13:00 Moscow time, and half an hour later to declare a state of silence.

"It will begin with the raising of flags on both sides of the ceasefire. From the Russian side - red, from the Ukrainian side - white along the entire perimeter of Azovstal, "said the colonel-general.
