The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has commented on the sending by the Armenian government the Rome Statute to the parliament for ratification, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for Russian Foreign Ministry, responding to the question how this step of the official Yerevan will influence the relations between Russia and Armenia, noted that Russia asked Armenia for an explanation in this regard.
"We will define our future steps based on the answer to be presented by Yerevan," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson added.
