Russia fired eight missiles at Ukraine from the Caspian Sea

The Russian army fired 8 missiles at Ukraine from the north of the Caspian Sea today, said The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, APA reports.

According to report, seven of them were shot.

"In total, eight cruise missiles of the X-101 (X-555) type were fired across the territory of Ukraine in the direction of the central, southern, and western regions. Seven of the eight missiles were shot down from the air. 6 rockets were shot down by anti-aircraft missile forces, and one was shot down by a fighter plane belonging to the Air Force," said the report.

One of the launched rockets hit Lviv region. There are no reports of damage or loss of life.
