"Moscow is changing its position regarding the prospects of Ukraine's accession to the European Union (EU)," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following the meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Dushanbe, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, Russia has serious doubts about the "harmlessness" of Ukraine's membership in the EU.
Notably, yesterday, Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyanskiy announced that his country has changed its position on Ukraine's membership in the European Union: "Russia's position on Kyiv's intention to join the EU has changed. Now it is similar to Ukraine's position to join NATO.
