Russia says it struck Ukrainian arms depot storing shells for U.S.-made artillery weapons

On Tuesday, Russia's defense ministry said that its forces struck an arms depot in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donbas used to store shells for U.S.-produced M777 howitzers, a type of artillery weapon, said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov at a briefing today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

"Over the past day, three command posts, 36 areas where the Ukrainian Armed Forces and military equipment are concentrated, a self-propelled artillery regiment of the 14th mechanized brigade in the village of Soledar, six ammunition depots, including American M-777 howitzers in Razdolovka, a large ammunition depot consisting of 155 mm shells have been hit with high-precision missiles," a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry said.
