Russia shot down six Ukrainian helicopters

The night before, in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Artsyz, Odesa region, in the area of the Chervonoglinskoye military airfield, high-precision Onyx missiles from the Bastion coastal missile system destroyed six Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said Major General Igor Konashenkov, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, APA reports.

During the day over the city of Severodonetsk, Russian air defenses shot down a MiG-29 aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force, he said.

According to the Ministry of Defense, high-precision missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit 11 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of Ukraine, four company strongholds, eight ammunition depots of Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Konstantinovka, Antonovka, Elizavetovka, Dolina and Lisichansk, and two radar stations for detecting air targets near Kramatorsk and the Baptism.

Also, the operational-tactical and army aviation of the RF Armed Forces hit two command posts and five areas of concentration of Ukrainian military equipment, the Rocket Forces hit 318 areas of concentration of equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, incapacitating 48 units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine equipment, Konashenkov said.

Three Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed in the settlements of Novozvanovka, Khartsyzsk and Izyum, a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile was intercepted near Ivanovka, Kharkiv region, and two rockets of the Smerch multiple launch rocket system were intercepted in the areas of Bolshaya Kamyshevakhi and Izyum.
