Russia's operational-tactical and military air forces, together with paratroopers, shot down three Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters and two Su-24 and Su-27 planes near Snake Island, said Major General Igor Konashenkov, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman at a briefing, APA reports.

A Ukrainian Su-24 bomber, a Su-27 fighter jet, three Mi-8 helicopters and two Bayraktar-TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down on Snake Island. "Ukraine's Stanislav attack boat was also destroyed," Konashenkov said.

The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed "Iskander" weapons provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by the United States and the European Union, as well as personnel of the 58th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region.

In addition, the Russian Aerospace Forces hit the area where 42 Ukrainian troops are concentrated and two ammunition depots.
