A temporary point of partial mobilization will appear at the Karauzek checkpoint on the Russian-Kazakh border in the Astrakhan region in the coming days, APA's Russian bureau reports.

This step was taken because of a large number of men of military age waiting to leave the Russian Federation in many kilometers of traffic jams.

“Now a queue of many kilometers has formed here from those who want to leave the country. Among those waiting to leave, there are a lot of men of military age … At the checkpoint, they began to check the documents of those leaving with the federal register to be mobilized and not to let out citizens who meet the criteria for conscription, who do not have the right to defer from partial mobilization or permission to leave from the military commissariat”, – the press service of the head of the region says.
