Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has discussed situation in Ukraine and steps of West in this context with Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ministerial meeting has been held on the sidelines of the G20 meeting in Bali.
"Special attention has been paid to the situation in and around Ukraine. Lavrov informed his Chinese counterpart about the implementation of the main tasks of the special military operation of the Russian armed forces aimed at protecting the civilian population of Donbas, demilitarization, and denazification of Ukraine. The ministers evaluated the steps taken by Western countries in the context of the Ukrainian plot," was noted in the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
