Russian FM: Russia sees Türkiye's international and regional influence growing in recent years-PHOTO

"Türkiye is our friendly neighbor and important partner," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during the protocol part of the quadrilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Türkiye, Syria and Iran, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

We have seen how Türkiye 's international and regional influence has grown in recent years. Russia supports the expansion and strengthening of bilateral relations with Türkiye. The 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye will be celebrated on May 12. In this regard, I can't help but remind you that Moscow and Ankara showed unprecedented mutual support in those distant and difficult years for our countries," Lavrov stressed.
