"Moscow is focused on the implementation of all economic projects with Ankara, which are of a strategic nature and remain an important element of the region’s security," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko told TASS on May 29 following the results of the presidential elections in Türkiye, APA reports.
He noted that Russia and Türkiye will continue the political dialogue. “We will continue our cooperation with Türkiye. We aim to implement all economic projects that are of a strategic nature. They are mutually beneficial, they are an important element of regional security. Political dialogue will continue. Naturally, there are other areas as well - tourism, cultural ties and many, many others,” he said.
All agreements between the Russian Federation and Türkiye, including on the implementation of the gas hub project, are systemic in nature, and the work is proceeding according to plan, he added.
