Russia's response to the ban on the transit through Lithuania to Kaliningrad will be practical, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at today's briefing, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
"As for the response measures, they are prepared in an interagency format ... They will be on a practical level, not diplomatic," said the Russian diplomat.
Zakharova stressed that Russia told Lithuania and the European Union that such actions were unacceptable and that the measures taken should be changed and the situation should be returned to the legal stream. "What and when will be is still discussed, depending on whether Vilnius agrees to lift the transit ban."
