The ambassador of France to Russia Pierre Lévy was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, APA reports.
The Ministry noted that the ambassador was summoned to the Ministry because Russian journalists were not allowed to participate in the press conference of the President of France Emmanuel Macron within the framework of the G20 Summit.
Russian Ministry also states that Paris' refusal to apologize for discrimination against journalists from Russia demonstrates France's commitment to policy of discrimination against Russian media.
