Russian MoD: 18 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down

"Russian air defense systems shot down 18 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of Ukraine last night," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

"Russia's air defense systems destroyed 18 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, including three Bayraktar TB-2s, over the settlements of Horlivka, Chervoni Oskol, Petmanovo, Kramatorsk, Kozinka, Karpovka, Putilina, Novoakhtyrka, Bezliki Liman and Peremoga," he said.

Konashenkov also noted that two missiles of the Smerch rocket launcher were fired at the settlements of Horlivka in the Donetsk region and Snezhkovka in the Kharkiv region at night.

"Last night, artillery units destroyed 389 enemy targets, including 35 command posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 41 outposts, an area where169 personnel and military equipment was concentrated, 33 artillery positions, as well as 15 missile and artillery weapons and ammunition depots.

The operational-tactical and military aircraft of the Russian Air Force hit 9 areas where manpower and military equipment were concentrated. As a result, more than 120 nationalists, 4 tanks, and 6 armored vehicles were destroyed, "Konashenkov added.
