"Yesterday, the Russian Air Force destroyed a division of the Ukrainian S-300 air defense system in the Mykolaiv region and a division of the Buk-M1 air defense system in Donetsk with high-precision air-launched missiles," said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
"Divisions of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems in the Bolshiye Lomzaki region of Mykolaiv region and Buk-M1 air defense system in the Donetsk Slavyanogorsk region were destroyed," a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Konashenkov also announced the military losses suffered by Ukraine so far.
"In total, 172 planes, 125 helicopters, 942 unmanned aerial vehicles, 313 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3158 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 395 rocket launchers, 1562 field artillery and mortars, 3026 units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation."
