Russian, Turkish FMs discuss preparation for Putin-Erdogan meeting

"Russian-Turkish relations experience a period of mature partnership," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a joint press conference on results of negotiations with Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.

According to Russian FM, Moscow-Ankara relations are based on principles of pragmatism, taking into consideration the interests of each other mutually, and kind neighborhood: "Certainly, these relations are given tone by Presidents. They are always in contact. These contacts are held within the framework of telephone conversations regarding pandemic yet. They have held telephone talks nine times over only this year. Today, we have discussed the schedule of contacts ahead of different levels. Certainly, we have discussed process of preparation for the next meeting of Presidents within the framework of the 9th meeting of High Level Cooperation Council."
