Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated on Wednesday that sanctions against Moscow must be lifted in order for Russian grain to be delivered to international markets, as traders face "a wall of restrictions.", APA reports citing Teletrader.

In addition, Peskov stressed that the West should not exaggerate the importance of Ukrainian grain reserves to the world, adding that they represent a smaller portion of global supply than Kiev authorities claim. The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that the global food crisis began before the Russia-Ukraine conflict, underscoring it was preceded by a series of events and mistakes made by governments around the world.
