Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced that Svyatogorsk town was taken under control during the special military operation, said Shoigu at the selector conference held today, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
"A significant part of the "Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics" along the left bank of the Seversky Donets river, including the cities of Krasny Liman and Svyatogorsk, as well as 15 other settlements, were taken under control," said the Russian defense minister.
He named Studenok, Yarovaya, Kirovsk, Yampol, and Drobishevo among the largest settlements taken under control.
