"Astana will hold talks with Moscow to solve the problem of the growth of Russians arriving in Kazakhstan," said President of the Republic Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, APA reports.

“In recent days, many people from Russia have been coming to us. Most of them are forced to leave because of the current hopeless situation. We must take care of them and ensure their safety. This is a political and humanitarian issue. I instructed the government to take the necessary measures,” – he said Tuesday during a public meeting in Turkestan.

According to him, “visitors from abroad will be assisted, but they will not receive any preferences, all work must be carried out in accordance with the law and our obligations.”

“We will hold talks with the Russian side and will solve this problem in the interests of our country,” Tokayev said.
